Cuisines of the World.
The AfroGourmets way.
Fresh ingredients.
Generous food.
Beautiful tables.
AfroGourmets is inspired by the places we come from,
the places we've lived and the food we simply love to eat.
Senegal. Morocco. France. Italy. Greece. Canada.
We take inspiration wherever good food takes us, and always add our own AfroGourmets touch.
Cook with us through hands-on classes and culinary experiences inspired by cuisines from around the world.
Let us cook for you with catering, private dining and corporate experiences made to gather around the table.
Take AfroGourmets home with our small-batch sauces, preserves, spice blends and specialty products.
For Awa, cooking is personal.
I sometimes describe myself as a little bit of a Julia Child, the African way.
I simply love to cook. Cooking relaxes me, makes me happy and gives me a place to create. My food is the food I love serving at home: generous, comforting and refined.
I use fresh ingredients, I love flavour, and I care just as much about how food looks.
But what I love most is what happens around the table.
I believe some of the most beautiful relationships are built, and kept alive, around a table.
Awa
Our food
Family-style. Generous. Refined.
Our cooking isn't about following one cuisine.
It's about cooking the way we love to eat.
We take inspiration from Senegal and Morocco, where so much of our story began, but also from France, Italy, Greece, Canada and everywhere else that makes us curious.
We use fresh ingredients.
We want flavour.
We want generosity.
And yes, we want it to look beautiful too.
Because we eat with our eyes first.
Whether we're preparing a cooking class for six people, catering a corporate lunch or cooking dinner for a private celebration, the philosophy stays the same:
Fresh ingredients. Generous flavours. Beautiful presentation.
Around the table
Food is only part of what we do.
The rest happens around it.
AfroGourmets was created from a simple belief:
The table brings people together.
It's where we share food, but also stories, cultures, laughter and time.
That's why we make sauces you can bring home.
That's why we host cooking classes.
That's why we create dinners.
That's why we cater celebrations.
That's why our studio has a table.
Because ultimately, AfroGourmets isn't about representing one country or one cuisine.
It's about cooking good food and creating reasons for people to sit down together.
